On April 1, 2014, you were either enrolled in the BadgerCare Plus Standard Plan, which has better drug coverage, or if you were not eligible for the BadgerCare Plus Standard Plan, you could apply for health insurance through the federal Marketplace (aka the Exchange). Prescription drugs are considered "essential health benefits" and are covered under insurance plans purchased through the Marketplace. Open enrollment for 2014 through the Marketplace ended March 31, 2014.

For questions regarding the BadgerCare Plus Standard Plan, call Member Services, available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (Central Time, with the exception of state-observed holidays) at 1-800-362-3002.

Questions about the program

How does BadgerRx Gold reduce prescription drug prices?
Participating pharmacies provide discounts and drug manufacturers offer rebates on covered medications. BadgerRx Gold passes through 100% of the combined savings to you, where you save an average of 35% off the retail cost of covered medications, with savings as high as 95%.

How is BadgerRx Gold different from drug discount cards?
