How does BadgerRx Gold reduce prescription drug prices?
BadgerRx Gold has the purchasing power of the State of Wisconsin behind it. That means lower prices on covered medications. Participating pharmacies provide discounts and drug manufacturers offer rebates on covered medications. BadgerRx Gold passes through 100% of the combined savings to you, where you save an average of 35% off the retail cost of covered medications, with savings as high as 95%.
How is BadgerRx Gold different from drug discount cards?
Unlike drug discount cards that generally do not pass drug manufacturer rebates to consumers, BadgerRx Gold members receive the direct benefit of these rebates. Rebates represent significant savings that make medications more affordable.
Am I eligible to join the BadgerRx Gold Program?
If you live in Wisconsin, you are eligible for BadgerRx Gold. It's that simple. There is no age requirement and no screening for pre-existing health conditions.
If you don't have health insurance; or your health insurance doesn't include a prescription drug benefit; or if you're in a plan that has high coinsurance or doesn't cover the medicines you need, BadgerRx Gold is right for you.
What does it cost to be a BadgerRx Gold member?
BadgerRx Gold members pay an annual (non-refundable) enrollment fee of $25 per person ($20 if enrolling online) or $75 per family of four or more ($70 if enrolling online). Because you're saving money on your medications, this cost is likely to be recouped with the first few prescriptions you fill at your pharmacy.

What happens after I enroll?
After we process your enrollment form, you'll receive your BadgerRx Gold member ID card in 15 business days or less. You can use the card immediately to save on your prescriptions.
How does the member ID card work?
BadgerRx Gold members receive savings on covered medications at any participating pharmacy. To receive these savings, you are required to present your card at the pharmacy when you fill your prescriptions.
